General Note:
Looking southwest at the Auraria Higher Education Center from the Parking and Transportation Center (PTC) at 7th and Lawrence Streets, Denver, Colorado. Construction begins on the Kenneth King Academic and Performing Arts Center, (AR7 Hoover Desmond Architects), located at 855 Lawrence Way. Construction workers use a front loader, a large truck mounted auger, and a pile driver. A truck is near the equipment, lettering on the truck reads: "non-potable H2O." A man stands with a surveyor's transit level. The post-modern red brick and glass Art's Building is nearby. The Denver skyline is in the distance. Shows the glass arcade and a part of the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. Signs on high rise buildings read: "Qwest" and "Executive Tower." Buildings include Brooks Towers condominiums, Qwest Tower, 17th Street Plaza, One Tabor Center, Plaza Tower, Larimer Place and Independence Plaza.
