General Note:
View of Silver Square Lofts at 3309-3333 Blake Street in the Five Points neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. Shows the elevations on Blake Street. These early twentieth-century industrial buildings are constructed of red brick. One building has a flat roof and double-hung sash windows, the other has a front-gabled metal roof. Signs read: "Industrial Machinery," "Sugar Machinery, "Engineers Manufacturers," and "Silver Engineering Wo[rks, Inc.]. The buildings are part of a one block complex built in 1908 by Harold F. Silver, the business manufactured equipment for the sugar beet and sugar cane, mining, and oil industries. The complex of rehabilitated industrial and commercial structures now houses lofts, condominiums, and art studios. (Architects-Corallas & Hoskin Architects; Developer: Hanover/Erlich; 1987)
