General Note:
View of Silver Square Lofts at 3309 Blake Street in the Five Points neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. Shows the elevation on Blake Street. The early twentieth-century, two-story, industrial building is constructed of red brick. The building has a front-gabled metal roof. Signs read: "Industrial Machinery" and "Sugar Machinery." The building is part of a one block complex built in 1908 by Harold F. Silver, the company manufactured equipment for the sugar beet and sugar cane, mining, and oil industries. The complex of rehabilitated industrial and commercial structures now houses lofts, condominiums, and art studios. (Architects-Corallas & Hoskin Architects; Developer: Hanover/Erlich; 1987.)
