General Note:
View of Skyline Park (1973; Landscape Architect-Lawrence Halprin and Associates) at Arapahoe Street between Fifteenth (15th) and Eighteenth (18th) Streets in the Central Business District neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. Shows a brick walkway, stepped concrete blocks designed to look like rock formations, and two water features designed to look like water falls. Lawrence Halprin and Associates borrowed colors and massing from the nearby foothills of the Rocky Mountains for the inner city park. The Park Central Building (1973; architect-William Muchow and Associates) is on the right side of the park. Signs on the building read: "Central Bank and Trust Company," and "Central Bank." The City and County of Denver demolished the park in 2003.
