General Note:
Detailed view of the seat and rails of the rustic shelter (1906) in Cheesman Park, 1000 High Street, in the Cheesman Park Neighborhood, of Denver, Colorado. Reinhard Schuetze, a landscape architect, designed the park and this log-and-wood gazebo. The six-sided gazebo has a circular roof and log-and-stick railing. In 2005, architect Nan Anderson (Andrews and Anderson) and craftsman Douglas Fowler (White Construction Group) restored the structure. The shelter is a designated Denver Landmark and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
