General Note:
View of the rustic shelter (1906) in Cheesman Park, 1000 High Street, in the Cheesman Park neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. High rise apartments are in the distance. Reinhard Schuetze, a landscape architect, designed the park and the log-and-wood gazebo. The six-sided gazebo has a circular roof and log-and-stick railing. A portion of the seating and some of the railing is missing. The shelter is a designated Denver Landmark and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
