General Note:
View of a water feature and trees at the REI Building, located at 1416 Platte Street, in the Highland neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. This is the former Denver Tramway Power Company powerhouse (1901, architects - Stearns and Rogers Co.) and was home to the Forney Museum of Transportation until it was restored and rehabilitated for use as the REI sporting goods store (1998-2000, architects - Mithun Partners, Seattle, WA). The red brick building has historic round arched windows.
