General Note:
View of the northeast corner of the bandstand on Ferril Lake, in Denver's City Park. The structure, constructed in 1984, replaced a similar bandstand constructed for the park in 1924 and torn down in 1984. The one-story wood bandstand has a faux tile roof supported by Doric columns. The Classical Revival-style bandstand sits on a platform, supported by rock piers. The photograph was taken in the evening. There is a band playing and people are sitting on blankets and lawn chairs. The Denver Museum of Nature and Science is in the distance.
