Notes

General Note:
View of the Old State Museum (1913), officially known as the Colorado State Museum, 200 West Fourteenth (14th) Avenue in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. Frank E. Edbrooke designed this former museum to harmonize with the state capitol, which it faces. The three-story Greek Revival building has a Gunnison granite foundation and walls of Colorado Yule marble. Four fluted marble columns with Ionic capitals support a shallow entrance portico. "Colorado State Museum" is inscribed on the frieze.
