General Note:
View of the Colorado Heritage Center (the Colorado State Museum, later the Colorado History Museum), 1300 Broadway, and the State Judiciary Building, 2 East Fourteenth (14th) Avenue, in the Civic Center neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. Shows a view of the two-building complex from the state capital. The buildings, have Modern Movement influences, and were designed by Rogers-Nagel-Langhart. The three-story U-shaped museum is made of brick. The rear elevation (north) is stepped and has balconies. The five-story judicial building is made of granite and has a flat asphalt roof.
