General Note:
View of the Colorado Heritage Center (the Colorado State Museum, later the Colorado History Museum), 1300 Broadway, in the Civic Center neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. Shows the front (south) facade of the state museum. The building, with its Modern Movement influences, was designed by Rogers-Nagel-Langhart. The three-story U-shaped museum is made of brick. There is a ribbon of metal casement windows on the third story of the front elevation. The front and side elevations have glass walls of metal casements. The five-story granite judicial building and Colorado State Capitol are in the distance.
