General Note:
View of the Colorado Historical Society and the Colorado History Museum, formerly known as the Colorado Heritage Center, 1300 Broadway, in the Civic Center neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. Shows the front (south) facade of the museum-office building. The building, with its Modern Movement influences, was designed by Rogers-Nagel-Langhart. The three-story museum is made of brick. There is a ribbon of metal casement windows on the third story of the front elevation. A colorful mural depicting historical figures and locations hangs between the third- and ground-floor windows. A group of children and adults is walking towards the building.
