General Note:
View of the Village Cork, Van Genderen Heating & Cooling, and Headwaves at 1304-1306 South Pearl Street in the Platte Park neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. The two story, commercial style, checkerboard patterned brick building has a low brick parapet with a decorative cornice, decorative brick courses and awnings over the entries. The building was constructed in 1900. Signs in the windows read: (painted) "The Village Cork a Wine Bistro," (neon) "Van Genderen Heating and Cooling, Entrance in Rear," and (neon) "Headwaves." Signs on the awnings read: "Village Cork" and "Hair-Skin-Nails Headwaves."
