She sits in front of a painted backdrop. She graduated from Antonito High School in Antonito (Conejos County), Colorado.

From inventory: "Erinea García's graduation portrait. She graduated from Antonito High School in 1922 with a class of eight students, seven girls and one boy. She taught school in La Jara, and San Luis Colorado and served as principal of the elementary schools in Conejos and Antonito, Colorado. She was appointed Postmaster of San Luis and served from 1934 to 1973, retiring at age 71 after serving for 38 years." (Hispanic Pioneers in Colorado and New Mexico, Colorado Society of Hispanic Genealogy, p. 182).
