From inventory: "During a convention in 2006, Michael Atencio wears the devisa from Concilio number 5 in Ortiz, Colorado. He inherited the devisa from his grandfather, Fredrico Ortiz Jr. For many years, Hermano Fredrico was a sheepman and an officer of the La Sociedad Protection Mutua de Trabajadores Unidos (The Society of Mutual Protection of United Workers, SPMDTU). Fredrico's wife, Adelaida Ortiz was also a member and officer of the ladies auxiliary in Antonito."
