Summary:
Hispanic American students and their male teacher, who holds books and a ruler, pose in front of their school in Rivera (San Francisco Plaza, Glenham), Las Animas County Colorado. The brick school house has a wooden belfry. A plaque over the door reads: "Public School 1890." Two of the students on the front row are identified: Adelina A. Rivera (4th from left) and Juan R. Córdova (2nd from right in buttoned jacket with white collar). Shows boys, girls and teenagers. The boys wear jackets and the girls wear dresses.
