Summary:
Four men pose in a corral probably on a ranch in Gulnare (Las Animas County), Colorado. Two of the men are on horseback, one, a Mexican American in a checked cap and jacket is identified as Fred Paiz who aims a rifle, the other wears a cowboy hat and has a rifle on his shoulder and watches on. A man kneels and points his rifle, he wears a jacket and a flat brimmed hat. The fourth man stands and points a rifle. He wears a cowboy hat and a jacket.

From inventory: "Silfredo Paiz was born April 16, 1904 in Gulnare, Colorado. He died on December 21, 1919 in Gulnare. Silfredo is on the horse to the left, next to the man kneeling. The other men are unknown. In 1919, Silfredo was dragged by a horse seven miles and died from his injuries."
