Lucille Campa, a well known dancer and teacher of Mexican, Spanish classical dance and flamenco, poses in a Peruvian Indian costume in the San Isidro District, Lima Peru. She wears a velvet dress decorated with hand woven fabric. Louise Campa was the wife of Professor Arthur L. Campa, Sr., and author, renowned scholar, historian and professor of cultural anthropology.

From inventory: "Lucille Campa performed Mexican, Spanish Classical, & Spanish Flamenco dance at a very early age. She traveled extensively and was known professionally as "La Charrita." In this photograph, she is shown in Lima, Peru, in the San Isidro district dressed in Peruvian Indian costume. After she married Arthur Campa Sr., she lived and raised their family in Denver, Colorado."
