He was a photographer for Walt Disney Productions, Producer/Director for KBDI-TV, a PBS affiliate in Denver, Associate Director for Colorado Council on the Arts, and currently Media Arts/Literacy Specialist for the Denver Public Schools. Their daughter Maruca Salome wears a dark dress and has a woven strap over her shoulder. Their son, Gabriel has a full beard and wears glasses.

Daniel, an artist and educator was born in Denver, Colorado. In addition to being a photographer and cinematographer for Walt Disney Productions, he served as Program Director for Colorado Council on the Arts and KBDI-TV. His wife Maruca was born in Veracruz, Mexico. In 2009, she was appointed as Director of the Latino-focused Museo de las Americas in Denver, Colorado."
