Trujillo, sang in the Saint Cajetan's church Mariachi Alegre de San Cayetano, and directed the Southwest Hispanic Colonial Dancers.

From inventory: "Daughter of José Repito Durán and María Rebecca Gallegos, Maria was born in 1927 in Brighton, Colorado. She married Filbert "Fil" G. Trujillo in 1950. She sang in the Mariachi Alegre de San Cayetano church choir, directed the Southwest Hispanic Colonial Dancers, and wrote the book Autumn Memories: My New Mexican Roots and Traditions.
