From inventory: "Adelina Sandoval, born April 14, 1890 in Trinidad, Colorado was the granddaughter of Fort Pueblo Commander José Benito Sandoval. Her grandfather and 11 others were killed at Old Fort Pueblo during the Christmas Eve Massacre of 1854. She married Severiano Félix Lovato, they had nine children.
