Abstract:
ScanTailor is a lightweight batch-editing program used to process images. It is especially effective at and efficient in processing images from materials with high page numbers and similar qualities (e.g., theses and dissertations). It can reorient, deskew, split pages, select content, create margins, and produce normalized output files. It is not useful for processing antique materials with high numbers of character-defining traits (i.e., old books, manuscripts, and photographs).
