pient of the Baiisch & Lomb science
award medal. She is eligible to
compete for the annual scholar-
ships offered by this company at

county GOP chairman, was among
party officials who attended the Re-
publican State Committee meeting
last week-end at Cosmopolitan Ho-
tel. One of its main job was to

3 Wrestling Champs
Englewood Impressive records
have been strung up to date in the
current wrestling season atSheri-
dan High School by the three Sato
brothers, sons of the George M.
Satos of 3801 South Santa Fe Dr.
They sweated out a seasonal
record, to date, totaling 28 wins
and but 2 losses. Their win-loss
tallies, broken down, reads: Ken,
17, senior-9-1; Allan, 15, sopho-
more-10-0; Don, 14, freshman-
9-1. Against Thornton last week,
for example (which Sheridan lost
20-22), Ken-138 lbs. decisioned
his foe 9-0. Likewise, Allan-103
lbs. won 5-0, and Don-95 lbs. won
7-2.
For tactical purposes, Ken, who
used to match up in the 145 lbs.
division a year ago, dropped to the
138 lbs. group this season with
imperceptible weight sweating, but
winning with perceptibly greater
ease. He was picked as an All-
Conference football guard last sea-
son.
Allan won the district mat title
last season. His clean 10-0 record
to date this season in the league
is as rare as a glittering $20
gold coin.
