We are proud to present this, the March 2014 issue, as the first of a recent redesign that we feel will benefit you, the reader . In a quasi drastic shift from a more traditional news style paper, we bring you the Mile High Times, a culture and lifestyle magazine tailored to you Colorado. That being said, we will contin ue to report on issues that matter to you. We hope that you can look to us as a place to find your favorite new local band or perhaps an interesting slice of history. We also aim to shed light on the abundance of social, economic and political issues that effect Coloradans everywhere. Due to the fact that we, as an organization, have chosen to cover topics re lated to the marijuana industry, we have been served a 'cease and desist' no tice from the well-known High Times publication. The purpose of the Mile High Times has always been to engage, entertain and inform the wonderful citizens of the Mile High City and the front-range, with pertinent and timely reporting. In response to the High Times; we will not abstain from our course. The times we live in dictate that we carry on and contin ue to provide our audience with a wide range of compelling information . Sincerely, Reader Commentary FEBRUARY ISSUE Growing Big It's so refreshing to see a different perspective on the economic impact of m a rijuana legaliza tion for non-marijuana businesses.
