General Note:
View of the Flower-Vaile House (1889; Robert G. Balcomb and Eugene Rice, architects) at 1610 Emerson Street in the North Capitol Hill neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. Shows the facade and side elevation of a three-story single detached residence. Constructed of brick, the Queen Anne-style house has stacked open wooden porches on the first and second floors, both with lattice work; multiple gables with decorative scroll work and pediments, a ground-floor Palladian window with pilasters, stained glass windows, a rough-hewn rock keystone and a composition roof.
